But ever since they released their android 6.0 marshmallow update the users have not been able to root it, but today I will be dropping a tutorial on how to root Samsung galaxy s6 edge running on android 6.0 marshmallow.

Step by step guide to root android 6.0 marshmallow
-first before we proceed, you ve to download cf-auto-root android 6.0.1 package for Samsung galaxy S6 edge to your PC and place the file on your desktop, or better still if you download it with your phone, connect it to PC via USB and move it to the desktop.-download the latest version of Odin which will enable you to root your Samsung galaxy S6 running on android 6.0 marshmallow.
-switch off your android device and boot it into download mode (press and hold the volume down and home button then press the power button till you see a warning symbol appear on the screen. After that press volume up to confirm and proceed to download mode.
-be sure that you have already installed Samsung galaxy s6 USB drivers installed on your PC.
-launch odin on your PC then while your android device is still on download mode, connect it via USB cable to PC.
-once your phone is successfully connected, one of the ID:COM box will turn "yellow" along with the COM port number (this process usually take some time).

-once you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the PC then pull off your battery to forcefully turn off the phone.
-now turn on your android device by pressing the power button, volume up and home button simultaneously so as to manually boot it into recovery mode directly, this will enable the rooting install process in your phone.
Once the process is completed, your Samsung galaxy S6 edge running android 6.0.1 marshmallow should be rooted. To verify your root process locate SuperSU app in your lists of apps.
