OnePlus 5 with SD835, FHD, 6 GB RAM and 3600 mAh battery will be realeased in late June.

Rumor mills around OnePlus 5 have started to churn slowly which follows the confirmation of name “OnePlus 5” after it appeared on Chinese wireless / radio regulation authority. Today, some new rumors have surfaced on the web, originating from China which offer some new information about the upcoming flagship device “OnePlus 5”. As per the new rumor, OnePlus 5 may only come with a full HD 1080p display instead of a Quad HD or 2K display thanks to issues related to procuring the 2K display from Samsung. The rumor also suggest that OnePlus may not go with 8 GB of RAM as rumored before, but will only offer 6 GB of RAM due to production cost.

It also goes on to state that OnePlus 5 may come with 3600 mAh battery and offer 25% faster charging compared to existing OnePlus 3T. Another important that the rumor talks about, is the possible launch date of the flagship device. It suggests that OnePlus 5 may be launched in late June 2017 which just the end of H1 2017. Earlier rumors have suggested official launch in H2 2017.

Thanks to earlier rumors, we already know that OnePlus may come with a dual camera setup at the back with a 23 MP sensor with features like optical image stabilisation, zoom, fast flash etc. along with another 16 MP front shooter for selfies. The dual camera setup is expected to be aligned horizontally at the top left corner of the device as suggested by an alleged OnePlus 5 case leak. In terms of the thickness, the phone is rumored to be just 7 mm thin with slim bezels. The fingerprint sensor is expected to be present at the back panel instead of being integrated into the front display or the home button.
